Sunday, I had the perfect opportunity to visit another
amazing mill in Fall Grove Pa. Garvine
Mill initially caught my attention online and I’m very happy I took the hour and
a half drive to get there. Unfortunately
it was an overcast day, and at least 30 minutes was used photographing the area
and mill. I will definitely be making at
least a sketch or a painting in the fall or winter.

Corey , your watercolors are every bit as intriguing as your pencil work.
ReplyDeleteReally good job.
I'm getting back to painting this week. I've been a bit MIA as the last couple weeks have been nerve-wracking with the storm approaching.

Hello there, I am new to this site, and it's nice seeing your works... it inspired me to paint more :)

Hey Jessica, thanks for stopping by and your comment. I really like your art style, a lot of emotion and vivid colors.
DeleteBarbra, I'm happy you weren't impacted by the storm too much (I forgot youre in Florida)and sorry it took so long for me to respond.
ReplyDeleteIt's always interesting getting stuck in rut and slowing getting back out. To be honest with you I'm stuck in a painting phase sort of. I dont have the mental drive to dig into a detailed rich drawing or painting, but plein air is really allowing me to go back to my college days. I was very reluctant to post my recent commission I finsihed last week but I'll post it by the end of the week. Well back to work!!
